Shipping policy
Your order processing time is separate from the shipping times that you see at checkout.
All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped (usually 2-4 weeks for all made to order products, depending on the size of your order). If there are any delays, including but not limited to a high volume of orders or postal service problems that are outside of your control, we will attempt to notify you as quickly as possible.

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. We offer free Express shipping for orders over AUD$1,000.

PARCEL SHIPPING TERMS- Fragile items
Although we ensure all orders are packed to the best of our ability, delivery through a parcel service can sometimes result in breakages to fragile products. Akka Ventures is not liable for any breakages that may be caused during transport and delivery of fragile items through a parcel service.
PARCEL FREIGHT TERMS
Where the facility for a mechanical forklift unload is not available, a tail- lift vehicle will be quoted for the delivery address provided. For tail lift delivery, there must be suitable access for a truck, and delivery will need to be to an easily accessible ground floor location for a pallet jack to unload. If the circumstances, including but not limited to the environment or weather, do not allow for this service, additional services such as waiting time, hand unloading, futile delivery or redirecting to a different address will attract additional fees. If charged by the freight carrier, these fees will be redirected to the customer for payment. Customers are welcome to collect from their local freight depot to minimise delivery costs, or may arrange their won freight.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
We offer international shipping. Please email chloe@akkaventures.com to get a custom freight quote.
All international orders are shipped inclusive of applicable import duties and taxes (including VAT for EU customers). Akka Ventures covers these charges, so you will not be required to pay additional duties or taxes upon delivery.
Please note that local customs processes may occasionally cause delays that are outside of our control.
HOW DO I CHECK THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 4 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at chloe@akkaventures.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
Shipping to P.O. boxes
Some carriers have limitations around shipping to P.O. Boxes. If one of your carriers falls into this group, you should look up their policy and communicate it to your customers here.
REFUNDS, RETURNS, AND EXCHANGES
