Peel & Stick Delft Tiles — Motif Box

Our hand-painted motifs, already in place.

Sixteen paintings from the studio — the pansy, the tulip, the teapot, the rooster — printed across ten peel-and-stick tiles in our Dutch Blue. No two tiles are the same: some carry one motif, some two or three, and one is left quiet. Lay them out in any order and the wall is yours; rearrange them and it becomes another wall entirely.

Prefer a quieter wall? Our Corner-Only tiles are the same vinyl with just the painted corners — mix the two boxes to thin the scatter to taste.

Sold as a box of ten tiles, 305 × 305 × 2.5 mm, covering 0.93 m². Apply to any smooth surface — kitchen splashback, bathroom vanity, feature wall. No grout or special tools.

Sixteen motifs, printed at offset positions across nine of the ten tiles — some carry one painting, some two or three, and one tile is left quiet. It’s the ‘random, but intentional’ scatter: the most popular layout for our ceramic Delft walls, where motifs land like punctuation in a quiet field of corners.

Lay the ten tiles in any order — the offsets do the work, and the wall reads as placed by hand. No two boxes need go up the same way.

• Coverage: a box of ten covers about 0.93 m²
• Material: premium vinyl with a high-resolution printed surface, EVA foam adhesive backing
• Finish: gloss — 3D PU gel, thick enough to hide the grout lines underneath
• Care: a soft damp cloth for everyday marks; a mild household spray for grease. No abrasive pads or solvents — they dull the gel surface.

No grout, no adhesive, no tradesperson.

1. Measure the surface, allowing for edges, corners and anything you'll cut around.
2. Plan the arrangement before you commit — shuffle the ten tiles until the scatter feels right. The motifs are already on the tiles.
3. Cut to fit with a Stanley knife and ruler; scissors for smaller curves. Cut the quiet tile first — it was made for the edges.
4. Clean the wall — it must be smooth, dry and free of dust or grease.
5. Peel and stick: pull back the release film and press firmly.

Surfaces: smooth, clean and dry — painted walls, existing ceramic tiles, glass, MDF, campervans. Not rough or heavily textured walls, and not fresh paint (give it four weeks to cure).

Over existing tiles: yes — at 2.5 mm they cover grout lines completely, so nothing needs removing. This is the renter's favourite.

Wet areas: splash-proof, so vanities, splashbacks and laundry walls are fine. Not inside a shower recess or anywhere water runs continuously.

Behind a cooktop: fine behind an electric hob, keeping about 30 cm clear. Not behind a gas hob — an open flame is a fire risk.

Floors: no. These are for walls only.

Coming off: they remove cleanly from most painted surfaces — peel slowly at a low angle, with a little heat from a hairdryer if needed. Test a small patch on older paintwork first.
