Transform your space in minutes. No tradesperson, no grout, no mess — just five simple steps.
1. Measure: Measure the surface you plan to tile, accounting for any edges, corners, or fixtures you'll need to cut around.
2. Plan: Lay the tiles out and plan your arrangement before committing. If you're using motifs, position them on the tile sheet first to achieve your preferred look. Separate motif instructions are here.
3. Cut: Trim tiles as needed to fit edges, corners, or around fixtures. For clean, straight cuts use a Stanley knife and ruler. Scissors work well for smaller or curved trims.
4. Clean: Ensure the surface is clean, smooth, and completely dry before applying. Wipe down with a lint-free cloth to remove any dust, grease, or moisture. Our tiles adhere to most painted walls, existing tiles, and flat surfaces.
5. Peel & Stick: Peel back the release film and press the tile firmly onto the surface.
What are peel and stick tiles? Peel and stick tiles are self-adhesive wall tiles that apply directly to smooth surfaces — no grout, no adhesive, no tradesperson required. Our peel and stick Delft tiles feature a premium EVA foam adhesive backing and a scratch-resistant 3D PU gel surface, giving them the look and feel of real ceramic without the renovation. Simply peel back the release sheet, position, and press.
What surfaces can peel and stick tiles be applied to? Our peel and stick tiles adhere best to smooth, clean, dry surfaces— including painted walls, existing ceramic tiles, glass, and MDF. They're also suitable for use in campervans and caravans. Avoid rough, heavily textured, or freshly painted surfaces (allow a minimum of 4 weeks for new paint to cure). Always wipe the surface with a clean, dry cloth before applying.
Can peel and stick tiles be applied over existing tiles? Yes — and this is one of the most popular uses. Our peel and stick tiles are designed to install directly over existing ceramic or porcelain tiles. They're thick enough at 2.5mm to completely hide grout lines, so there's no need to remove or prep your existing tilework. Ideal for renters or anyone refreshing a dated kitchen or bathroom without a full renovation.
Can I use peel and stick tiles in a shower or wet area? Our peel and stick tiles are splash-proof and well suited to bathroom vanity areas, kitchen backsplashes, and laundry walls. However, they are not suitable for direct water exposure— such as the interior walls of a shower recess or areas where water will run continuously over the surface. For those spaces, a permanent tile installation is recommended.
Can peel and stick tiles be used behind a stove or cooktop? Our peel and stick tiles are heat proof and safe to use behind an electric hob or cooktop. We recommend keeping a distance of up to 30cm. They are not suitable behind a gas hob, as the open flame presents a fire risk — the tiles are not fire resistant. If you have a gas stove, we recommend using these tiles on surrounding walls rather than directly behind the burners.
Can peel and stick tiles be used on floors? No. Our peel and stick Delft tiles are designed for wall applications only and are not suitable for floors. The adhesive and surface coating are not rated for foot traffic or the weight and pressure of floor use.
Can peel and stick tiles be removed without damaging walls? Yes. Our peel and stick tiles are designed to be removed cleanly without damaging most painted surfaces. Peel slowly at a low angle, and apply gentle heat from a hairdryer to help release the adhesive if needed. As with any adhesive product, we recommend testing a small area first— particularly on delicate or older paintwork. These tiles are a favourite with renters for exactly this reason.
Can peel and stick tiles be cut to size? Yes. Our peel and stick tiles can be easily trimmed to fit edges, corners, and awkward spaces using a stanley knife or a sharp pair of scissors. We recommend measuring and marking your cut line before trimming for a clean, precise finish.
How do I clean peel and stick tiles? Our peel and stick tiles are very easy to clean. Simply wipe with a soft damp cloth for everyday dust and splashes. For grease or tougher marks, a mild household spray cleaner works well. Avoid abrasive scrubbing pads or solvent-based cleaners, which can dull the 3D gel surface over time.
