On the shelf now; dispatches in 1–4 days, tracked. once this design sells through, the next is painted to order.
The hand behind it
Chrysanthemums, painted small. Each head is a handful of quick strokes turned around a centre, the way the flower actually grows, and the brush leaves the petals slightly uneven so the bloom looks alive rather than printed.
Room for a single stem, a little foliage, or foraged blooms. Or, it is the vase we reach for to sit on its own as a ceramic accent piece.
Painted by hand in our studio, then glazed and fired with a gloss finish. If you would like a small family of them, they sit well in twos and threes on a shelf, each one a slightly different mood.

Questions, answered
What goes in it? A single stem, a little foliage, or a handful of foraged blooms — a garden rose, a sprig of wattle, whatever the walk home turned up. Dried stems and grasses sit well too, and it holds its own empty, as a small ceramic object on a shelf.
Will mine look like the photograph? Close, and not exactly. Each one is painted by hand, so the pattern lands a little differently every time. That is the part we would not trade away.
Can I order more than one? Yes. They are painted as a family, so the designs sit together on a sill or a table. If you would like a set painted in a particular colour, write to us before you order.
