The hand behind it

Every tile is hand painted in our studio in Newport, Sydney. Each piece is made by hand — so no two are ever identical. You may notice subtle variations in the glaze, a mark here or there, or slight shifts in tone, but that’s where their beauty lies, we think - more artwork than uniform product.

If you’re after something perfectly identical, these may not be the right fit.

Details & care
  • Dimensions: 10.8 cm / 4¼ in square × 0.8 cm deep
  • Material: earthenware ceramic, gloss glaze — heat, scratch and water resistant
  • Made: hand-painted, glazed and fired in Australia
  • Care: mild detergent or vinegar with water, wiped with a soft cloth
  • Wet areas: suited to backsplashes, bathrooms and laundries when properly grouted; ask us about floors
Shipping & returns

Painted to order with a lead time of 2–4 weeks. Domestic orders ship via AusPost; international via FedEx — tracked, with all duties and import taxes covered by us.

Shipping is free over AUD $1,000; otherwise calculated at checkout. Returns are welcome within 30 days of delivery, in original condition.

Questions, answered

What grout should I use? White complements the glaze; a darker grout emphasises each tile's shape.

How many do I need? About 100 tiles per m², plus 15% for cuts and breakages — the visualiser counts them for you.

Other colours? Base glazes (White, Ivory, Vanilla, Ecru) and painted details can be tailored — write to us about custom colour work.

I love the tiles :) they are beautiful! Especially the personalised ones 🫶.
The teapot, I would have preferred it to be simple as the one I added in my order, without the flower. The cup is ok, it goes with the teapot, but I didn’t like the flower and it’s a long way to return it :) and ask for a simple one.
